I knew it! I knew it!!

For at least 3 years the phrase for something outstanding amongst the younger generation is BEAST. I've ignored it for as long as I could because I thought it lacked originality and was just plain stupid. Bear was my very best audience in the world because she LOVED all the words that I brought home from school---the Cresset years being the most lucrative with fresh and sassy verbage. Cathy Culton and I had zillions of expressions and sayings that were fabulous. Beast is just goofy.

However--I am BEAST. I just opened the Duke Medicine Result Portal and the SRI LANK TROLL DOCTOR reported that I'm fit as a fiddle with the 3 blood panels they drew yesterday--SPLASH of CREMORA be damned!

CHOLESTEROL, TOTAL 172 mg/dL
Reference Ranges

Desirable: <200>239 mg/dL

BEAST. BEAST, I say. Wow....I guess this health train will end one of these days but it is fun doing absolutely nothing but sitting on my a$$ and getting such good health reports. I am blessed--thank you, Lord. Did anyone notice the ODD spelling of the Sri Lank's middle name. I wish I had a photo to post. Perhaps I will find one on the Duke Healthcare website.

Enough crowing about my health. A gal that I was kind of friends with in high school (i went to the beach with her for a week--does that count?) became a grandmother yesterday. I believe her daughter was a sophomore at Peace College in Raleigh, NC. I am not ready to be a MAW MAW--I decided today. Not yet.

Bit has a crush. A crush that is a senior at East CHHS and he is going to RIT next year. Rochester NY---why? shudder. brrrr. Because Bit reads this--I can't dish like I'd like. However, she wants to go to Ritas and get a dessert with the kid tonight. He is looking forward to meeting me. I haven't decided if I'll be Friendly Fritter or not. Depends if he has an adam's apple or not. I'm not ready for venturing off in cars.

Hell--we didn't have an opposite sex SKYPE policy in place until Wednesday of this week. Now car venturing? I think Big Daddy and I are the fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants- parents.... I feel like other parents agonize over these types of things and have a manifesto in place by the time their toddler is cruising.... us ....we'll text at around 5p....the kid will be in the driveway at 7p and off they go come 7:12p.

I'm eager to go to the Apple Store in the next little bit--for one-on-one training. So many topics to cover. So little time. I'll spend a longish amount of time drooling over the iPads. Mother's Day, perhaps?

Finally--a precious picture of 12 of our 18 Brownies at Camp Graham last night.
